It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday...

I never imagined that I would have this feeling on this trip, but I feel like I am truly connecting with people here, even if its for a brief amount of time.  And it's getting harder and harder to say goodbye to them.  In Kyeong Ju, I wanted to cry when we left Seoyeon (our translator).  She had become the fifth member of our team.  She spoke very good English, was lots of fun, and I certainly appreciated having her with us since I'm the only female in the group.  Last night, saying goodbye to Eun-Young and Mi-Young was also depressing.  I don't know what it was that connected us so well but part of me doesn't want to leave them.

When we returned to the dormitory last night, they really did call an assembly of all of the girls.  They wanted to ask us questions and talk to us.  I think there were about 150 girls there.  We each introduced ourselves (in Korean) and talked a little about ourselves.  Travis and I taught them how to do the Gator Chomp.  I took pictures but that's one of those things that you just had to be there for...I was so proud!  I'm spreading the Gator Nation spirit all over!  Then we went to the singing room for a while...thank God for certain pop songs because although it might be hard for us to communicate, we all were able to sing and dance together to some songs (mostly Britney of course).  We also showed some girls pictures from home...they were quite fond of my brother, Adam.  Adam, you've got some fans over here!

Today we leave for Andong...once again, I have no idea where we're staying or what we're doing (that's just how it is in every city) but I'm told we'll be there for 4 nights.  Hopefully, I'll have Internet access to keep this updated.  I will never forget Seoyeon, Eun-Young, or Mi-Young and I hope they all know how much their friendship meant to me, even during such a short time.  It's a great feeling knowing that I'll now have friends halfway across the world.

Sounds like you are having such a great experience. I love getting on here every day to see what your next adventure will be!

We missed you last night! Had a good turnout, but of course it wasn't the same without you. I'm so excited to leave, and reading about your trip just makes me more anxious.

Hey babe!

Don't know if youre reading this, but its funny that you wrote about saying goodbyes.  The week before you get back to work will be my last one.  I am actually taking some time away from work and will finish school in June and then its a month off to really get a good deal of personal work to look for that "dream" job.  I will be back in the office to see you when you get back, but I cam across your blog entry and had to write you.  I will miss all of our chats and lunches and our bashing of our FL teams. GO NOLES!  haha.  But dont get yourself down or anything cause I will be back to see ya and then we can wheep together!

Hope all is well and that you are truly livin it up!  Its around the 90's here and it just gets hotter and hotter.  Good tan weather though.  Thinkin about ya and missin ya..see ya soon.
